This is for words starting with "F"

Fiendfyre:

What it does

Fiendfyre is a cursed fire that gives its victims only a moment's warning. Its flames are of abnormal size and take the shape of fire-breathing monsters and beasts, such as serpents, chimaeras, dragons, and raptors, continuously mutating. It follows its victims and appears to be alive. The fire will pursue nearby lifeforms as if it were alive itself, even the one who conjured it if they lack control. The fire will also pursue anything it can burn for more fuel and seems to incinerate anything through mere contact. It is even strong enough to destroy a horcrux.

Who cast the spell in the Deathly Hallows?

In the Deathly Hallows, Vincent Crabbe conjures the fiendfyre in an attempt to kill Harry Potter but doesn’t know how hard it is to control and lights the whole Room of Requirement on fire during the battle of Hogwarts and does Harry Potter a favor of destroying a horcrux, but doesn’t do himself any favors.

What happened to him?

The fiendfyre kills the conjurer himself; Vincent Crabbe. He was using the curse in an attempt to kill the trio and instead ended up killing himself and almost killing Draco Malfoy and Gregory Goyle, but Harry sees the cursed fire about to consume his enemies and changes his heart to save them from the horrible fate by swooping down on his broom and saving them.
